What

Restorative
Dentistry Link1;
Link2
This umbrella term
combines the 3 specialties of Prosthodontics, Endodontics and
Periodontics. Specialists
in Restorative Dentistry have been trained to deal with
advanced dental disease, failing restorations that have a poor
prognosis and the provision of extensive dental
treatment. We can discuss all possible treatment
options, which will help you decide which mode of treatment is
most appropriate for you.

A
failing bridge replacing 8 front teeth
was replaced after both endodontic and
periodontal treatment.

What
are.. Dental
Implants .......
More about Dental
Implants
Implants
are essentially titanium screws placed in the jaw bone which
act as a false root to support a crown, bridge or
denture. Dental
implants are expensive but do not necessarily give the best
cosmetic result – you should be advised of the limitations
and benefits of implants when a missing tooth is assessed to be
replaced.
A
front tooth was lost and has been replaced with an implant
(left x-ray) which then supports a crown.
